Biography
Teija Sainio received her Doctor of Philosophy degree from University of Turku. Her doctoral dissertation studied the feasibility of quantitative MRI techniques in predicting the technical outcome of MRgHIFU treatment of uterine fibroids and the effects of oxytocin infusion on the blood flow of uterine fibroids using quantitative MRI technique. She is actively participating in several MRI and HIFU related research projects.
